Our Social Events
Every year the JWVC (Jozo Weider Volunteer Committee) organizes a number of social events to create a memorable club experience for our athletes and their families. Sign up for your Membership. The following list introduces you to the biggest annual events in the club.
2025 Opening Weekend Kick-Off
Kandahar Room, Conference Centre, Blue Mountain Inn
New Parent Meeting – Saturday, January 4 – 10am – Come and meet the JWVC and other new parents. We’ll answer all the questions about schedules, gear, pizza parties, and more.
Gear Swap – Saturday, January 4 – 2pm – bring your gear, slap on price tags, grab a table, and sell it to other parents! It’s a good way to tidy up your sports closet and make a few bucks to spend on this years gear!
First Official Apres – Saturday Jan 4 3-5pm
Kandahar Room in Conference Centre
All ages – Tasty hors d’oeuvres (FREE!) and drinks from the Apres Bar ($)
New Parent Meeting (the Repeat) Sunday, January 5 – 10am – It’s a straight repeat of the Saturday meeting, geared to the Sunday families, but all welcome if you couldn’t get there on Saturday! Come and meet the JWVC and other new parents. All your burning questions will be answered.
Ladies' Day
Friday February 7, 2025
It is the big fun Ladies only event. Guests are welcome! Bring your friends! The event includes breakfast, lunch, scavenger hunt games on snow, prizes, music, dancing and more. Buy tickets at Jozo Online Store.
Mens' Day
Friday February 14, 2025
Let’s get the Men together and have a great time! Guests are welcome! Bring your friends! The event includes breakfast, lunch, games, fantastic door prizes and giveaways. Buy tickets at Jozo Online Store.
End of Seasons Awards Events
Saturday March 1, 2025
The Awards Banquet is the End of the Year celebration for our athletes in 2 days programs, their coaches, families and friends. The event includes an athlete parade, an award ceremony, buffet dinner, music and dancing.
